In this presentation, Dr. Rana explored how Green Finance serves as a powerful catalyst for inclusive economic growth, social equity, climate resilience, and resource efficiency. Key insights included the vital role of Green Finance in driving sustainable development and poverty reduction, illustrated through case studies from Rural Africa, India’s Green Accelerator, and Saudi Arabia’s Green Initiatives. Dr. Rana also highlighted the need for innovative financial instruments and robust policy frameworks that align economic strategies with environmental sustainability. Had the privilege of engaging in a substantive discussion regarding the increasing gender pay gap in the UK with Minister Alexandra Davies-Jones at a recent event in the House of Commons. The event, hosted by Minister Alexandra Davies-Jones, committed to championing victims and addressing violence against women and girls, and was skillfully led by Rebeca Riofrio, the Director of the UK Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion and Sports. The gathering served as a significant platform to address and highlight the challenges faced by professionals in the creative industry. Our collaborative efforts aim to raise awareness and promote meaningful change, creating safer and more supportive environments across the sector.
